QUANTITATIVE SUMMARY OF RESULTS

There was no significant difference between counters 1-3 (p=0.56/a= 0.05).

There was also no significant difference between number of lesions on any of the experimental groups of worms (p=0.53/ a=0.05).

DAF-16 EXPRESSION IN NUCLEI OF HEATED WORMS

We used DAF-16 worms to show that the gene successfully translocated into the nuclei when the worms were heated at 34C for 30 minutes.
